Can I have a water softener installed if I have limited space?
Often, yes. Compact models can suit homes with limited space, provided they can meet your household’s water demand. We check the dimensions, plumbing connections, drainage and access for salt refills and maintenance before recommending a system.
Send us a photo and the approximate width, depth and height of the available space, and we’ll help assess your options.
How often do I need to add salt?
There is no fixed refill schedule. Salt consumption depends on the model, incoming water hardness, household size and water usage.
We recommend checking the salt level once a month and topping it up whenever it falls below approximately one-third of the brine tank.
Your installer can provide a more accurate estimate after measuring the water hardness and configuring the system.
Will softened water affect drinking water taste?
Softening removes limescale, but most customers pair it with Reverse Osmosis if they want pure, high-quality drinking water.
